Ingles also has a really high TO rate as PnR ballhandler (or at least towards the first half of the season). Zach Lowe wrote about the exact pass OP described. I do think keeping the defense on their toes with these difficult passes is absolutely worth it, but take it with a grain of salt...

i think mitchell is playing awful, he's taking so many mid range shots, and at least 3-4 have been completely off balance one legged contested ones. cant take shots like that. he's not getting to the rim effectively at all. the missed 3s are fine, not awful shots.
