Hahaha that was so amazing. Besides a championship isn't that a fan's dream scenario? Hopefully they're still digging.
NC is great. Highly recommended. Beaches to the east, mountains to the west. Can't beat it.
The question is, will anybody have a worse bench than the Jazz? Get excited for this late 3rd quarter lineup:

Al obviously had his deficiencies but we are going to miss his scoring BADLY. He was one of the clutchest offensive players last year. Who are we going to go to when we need 2 points with a minute left in a game? Hayward? And watch him get blocked at the hoop/get stripped on his way up? Kanter...
Locke is saying we actually had to out-bid other teams to get him. Why didn't any of these teams draft him then?! He played 4 years in college and had the best TS% in the nation! Glad we got him.
And I'm assuming one of the teams who wanted Clark would be his SL team Golden State. Feels good.
Impressive! Equally unimpressive is his inability to get to the free throw line. Hopefully he is Danny Green Jr: No dribbling, driving, passing etc. just shooting and defense.

Yeah are starters are going to have some growing pains that Portland didn't have to go through. But I can see the Jazz playing close to .500 basketball after the allstar break. The reason I didn't do lower than 29 is because Portland straight up tanked the last 20 games of the season.
The question to ask is whether the Jazz are better than Portland last year.
Burke
Burks
Hayward
Kanter

Lillard
Mathews
Hickson
Batum
Aldridge
With the Benches about the same...
Portland-33 Wins Utah-???
My guess is 29
Jazz are all-in when it comes to tank mode/asset collection and we've heard that Lindsay isn't done yet, wanting to get yet another draft pick.
What teams have a bad contract that would make sense for the jazz to absorb? There aren't too many left since Boston and Utah are both gobbling them...
I agree with stashing him for 1-2 more years. Not only for his development but so Burke can have a vet to practice with and get advice from. Have two rookie pgs doesn't make a ton of sense to me. Yes we want to lose but we also want to develop the talent we have.
Gobert should have gone in the 12-16 range. Great pickup. He still is getting rebounds ripped out of his hands and comes way to far out on defending the pick and roll which causes him to be out of position. NBA point guards will take advantage of that. But in 3-4 years he's going to be a great...
Tough one. Burke will certainly get more experience in the next couple years than Burks could have dreamed of in his first two years. Consequently I feel the experience factor gives the edge to Burke.
