Thought the same. The misbalance of conferences is only worsened by the draft. Case in point: Jazz get 11/12 pick and Brooklyn(Atlanta) gets the 15th. Works in our favor.
It looks like the coin flip with Boston last year was done on Friday (the season also ended on Wednesday last year.).
So expect news to come out some time tomorrow afternoon.

Brooklyn finally takes the lead against Orlando! Come on, take us home Deron.
With a Brooklyn win we have a coin flip for 11 regardless of an Indiana win or loss.
That drive and the spin into a fadeaway @ 0:33 is some elite stuff.
Hayward just chillin' in the corner Exum style @ 0:52 for a solid 10 seconds. Normally always curls up to Gobert in that situation. The guy is spent. I'm assuming Snyder also told him to lay low and have the youngsters...
It's top 18 protected, not lottery protected. So we need OKC to not only make the playoffs but finish ahead of the Wizards. Very unlikely at this point.
If Detroit, Sacramento etc go for that with the OKC pick, I'd do that in a heartbeat. But that GS pick is one Steph Curry injury away from being in the lottery. Bogut and Iggy will be 33 in 2017 and who knows how the league is going to look with the new Salary Cap rise coming up.
You run the...
Two very safe picks. The Jazz might feel they are good enough where they don't need to hit a home run in the draft this time around.
Jazz are in such a unique spot developmentally that literally everything is in play.
But the most common theme is the Jazz need shooting to spread the floor for...
It should be noted that we have 10 other draft picks not including our own (2 firsts and 8 seconds) we can trade to move up or to get an all-star level player.
The article seems to barely scratch the surface of trade possibilities as far as Jazz assets go. Doesn't mention Tomic either.
Tend to agree, especially with the PG position. Jazz know they can be patient with Exum and like Lowe says in the article, the Jazz want to peak in 3 years. Another quality draft pick who will start hitting their stride in 2-3 years fits perfectly with the Jazz timeline.
Jazz aren't stupid...
The Jazz are bound to draft Kaminsky. They're all in on making the playoffs next year which means they're done picking investment/potential guys. DL still yearns for his stretch 4 too. Gonna happen.
Where has there ever been a report that the Jazz have "informed Barcelona of their intentions"? Nothing is ever for sure, but this is good news regardless.
