Who will step up and help Hayward win?

Well considering we only have 6-7 NBA level players on the roster, his stats are going to be inflated this year. I think GMs are smart enough to realize that come free agency.

Who will step up and help Hayward win?

I think Kanter has been a little slow out of the gate after recovering from his injury. I expect him to have some break out games here soon.

    Reading the Tea Leaves

Don't mind if I do: Combo guard or SG and Luol Deng

    Reading the Tea Leaves

My more conservative 2 cents: Burks is the only one with the potential to get traded. The jazz value consistency (and now defense) more than most teams and won't trade a defensive minded Favors and his now reasonable contract. I even see a Hayward sign and trade more likely than a Favors trade...

    Following potential 2014 draftees

If the GS pick lands in the expected 16-22 range, do we keep that pick? I get the feeling the Jazz won't add two more 1st rounders to an already young team. Especially with the possibility of Neto coming over. Here's hoping for some Lindsey draft magic version 2014.

    Wiggins vs Parker

What? This makes no sense. On a down year LA was playing on national tv opening day and will be playing on Christmas.

    Wiggins vs Parker

No talk of Julius Randle? He looked dominant yesterday (23 points 15 rebounds) and could very well be the first player selected come draft time.

What is more important to this team?

The free agency part doesn't get discussed here in depth very often. Yes we are going to have some spending money but I wonder if we'll wait yet another year to spend it since we still won't be contending in '14-'15. I can see the Jazz using TWO years to develop/evaluate their players...

Pre-season POLL: How many games will the Jazz win?

27 a month ago and 25 now. Mostly because I thought Rush and Marvin would be further along. They might not get up to speed until mid to late December.

    All-hail-enes kanter

Is 20 ppg too much to hope for this season? Most improved isn't out of the question for him.

    Jazz 2013-14 ESPN season predictions

Pelton was also pretty high on Gobert. Talked up his potential but says his biggest area for improvement needs to be his pick and roll D. Also surprised he's only projecting Evans with 5 ppg. Figured he'll be closer to 8 with the playing time he's bound to get.

    Jazz 2013-14 ESPN season predictions

Kanter will average more points than Favors no doubt. Also Burks is being rated too low. I see him closer to 14 ppg. We'll probably have 4 guys in the 14-18 ppg range.

    pseudo jazz related

I'll admit it. I wanted him over Burke. Sad news, I was excited to see him play. They're saying he'll be back in January. Still think he's a strange fit for that team.

    I hate Locke

Don't get me wrong though. He says some really really stupid stuff the other half of the time. You just take the good with the bad.

    I hate Locke

I get not liking his play by play and his general annoyingness, but he actually has some intelligent things to say half the time. I'd take him over the vast majority of sports media types.

Starvin' Marvin Might be Ready and Healthy by November

The trade for Marvin never should have happened. We gave up a decent 1 year contract for a bad 2 year contract. We got a pick for the trouble right? Nope, not even a second rounder. KOC blew that trade. To make it sting even more, Atlanta was +7 or so with Harris on the floor, and in the...
