Considering I have yet to really watch Whiteside, can someone more in the know explain the comparison to Rudy? I know the basic stats seem to fall in Whiteside's favor, but advanced stats lean Rudy's way and Rudy is. Are they comparable?

I agree 100% - the other thing we have to look at is how the team has been built so far (and the guys we've been interested in). We have a wing lineup that is multi-positional (Gordon SG/SF, Exum, SG/PG, Burks SG/PG, Hood, SF/SG, etc.) and potential a 3 man starting lineup (Trey, Exum, Hayward)...

Start the rebuild? What have we been doing the past year and a half?!

Personally, if we're gonna end up tanking (top 8 pick) next year I'd rather we were able to have a shot at one of the 'game-changer' SFs in that draft.
