Some players can take longer. Remember JK was actually pretty raw when drafted. That’s why I think he has a big leap in his development yet to come. I am actually pretty high on him. Still only 21
Agree. The only trade you do for Lauri is to find your SGA, Haliburton etc ie a young player that has superstar potential. Those players are hard to find but Jalen Williams is possibly one. Cade may be another that just needs a change in scenery. Likewise for Lamelo or although not convinced is...
If the Thunder get eliminated, is there a situation of a deal centered around Lauri for Jalen Williams. It’s possibly a win win situation where Utah gets a young star that fits their timeline, and OKC gets the perfect Robin to SGA. Obviously other parts need to be included.
Someone said to me the other day that a good comparison coming out of college is Jimmy Butler. Has that dog in him to not get beat by anyone, make his team better and an extremely strong work ethic. You can’t teach that. Jimmy wasn’t the best shooter coming out of college and some would say...
Not sure if GS does this, but if I was the Jazz I would offer KO and a future first for Kuminga. I think KO fits great for them and Kuminga is a high risk high reward gamble that could have a Lauri type breakout. I am higher on him than wasting cap space on Kuzma.
What if all these bad reports on Whitnore came from Ainge and his people, so he would drop. Bad workouts, injury issues, college coach doesn’t like him etc.
Maybe the grand plan is to trade up for Black, and then trade up via Dallas for Whitmore.
Looks like the Warriors are going to shaking up their roster with everyone other than Curry available. Kuminga would be a nice piece next to Lauri and Kessler. Moody would also be a nice get.
Good night for the Jazz so far with teams under Utah and Minny winning (OKC, Tor, Heat) and both Philly and Brooklyn losing. Now just need Portland and Lakers to win to cap it off!
Ainge and Jazz have all the leverage. Don is under contract. We keep him for a year until next offseason or the deadline then Knicks run risk that there will be more suitors. They can’t afford to miss out on Don
I think Timberwolves are wanting to push all their chips in for a chance at a title. It was mentioned on NBA today that another west conf team that doesn’t have any draft picks asked about Kyrie. D’Angelo for Kyrie as the base of the deal works.
Until we see the finished product of next years roster, our current franchise player has every right to ask those questions. Good on him!
Don’t fall for the media trying to dramatise every move Donovan makes. Their dream is for him to get traded. Gives them something to talk about.
We are a small market team that cries out for star players. We finally had two all stars, and there are members of the fan base that all they want to do is hate on them. You know who you are and it’s disgusting and am ashamed to be a Jazz supporter. We don’t deserve any stars. Jazz fans whinge...
Jazz should stay away from Collins. He can’t guard wings and he can’t guard bigger body PF’s and Centers. He is a defensive liability and is effectively a 6’8 tweener center. Ask Hawks fans what they think of him and how frustrating he is to have on your team. I would actually prefer Simmons...
I think Don wants to leave, but I don’t think he wants to ask for a trade with 4 years left on his contract, it would be a PR hit yo his brand. I also think the Jazz know this. The question is if we do trade him why does it have to be to the heat or Knicks. Surely there are plenty of other...
