If we've lowered our standards that hard to then be able to say that any of the dudes who were -17 or -18, and were complete sieves on defense, were great by grabbing a few measly boards and pushed the pace a little, then count me out of that school of thought. The only dude that was the least...
Would have added to the crazy amount AND quality of dunks in this game from the Jazz.
Rudy's dunk, every single one of Mitchell's dunks, THE put back dunk. If the NBA wants to look potential top 5 plays of the week, just pick a lot of the dunks in this game.
I think It's just beyond obvious that Bradley needs to play when he's healthy. I don't want to hear none of this crap from Locke on how we will lose them if we don't play them.
Do what is best for the Jazz.
Look at some of our minutes distribution today.
Bogey 37, Rudy 36, Mitchell 35. Yikes.
The minutes seem to be tightening up even more than they had been at the beginning of the season. We cannot keep this up for the whole season. Our main guys will be absolutely spent by the time the playoffs...
David Locke will probably speak about the bench again in his post game podcast. And this time the bench doesn't have the luxury of also hiding behind 'the starters played badly too' meat shield.
I don't care that we might win here. This, in my opinion is embarrassing. -17, -17, -18 from 3 guys from our bench. We're jumping up and down about this potential win like we're playing the Lakers. This is a G-League team.
We're not the only NBA team to do this, stagger the combinations in this manner to soften the blow. Problem is, the suckage from our bench is pretty high.
