NBA Free Agency Moves in General (related to the Jazz, but not just moves made by the Jazz)

I really thought Thibs would go yolo in Minnesota and play Butler as his PF with Wiggins and someone else on the wing.

NBA Free Agency Moves in General (related to the Jazz, but not just moves made by the Jazz)

This off-season is straight up comedy. The east minus wherever Lebron plays is like a d-league for the west. Rebuilding teams develop good talents who stay for 8 years until they are in their prime and then they team up with other stars in the west Sent from my PRA-LX1 using JazzFanz mobile app

    Summer League Notes And Discussion

I feel like there are 3 ways for exum to succeed : 1) he gets the ball in his hand and is allowed to be himself 2) quin designs a couple outs in our default offense where exum can come off a screen and attack 3) Dante becomes so good at his role that he'll organically find more opportunities...

RUMOR: Joe Ingles to be offered 4 years at $60M by Orlando

Don't forget 2.7 assists and a 2.05:1 A/TO ratio. Ingles numbers are more than what they indicate. His marksmanship means that the floor is more open which in turn allows a higher % at the rim for both Rudy and Gordon. He's too smart to run off the line even though his release is slow. When...

RUMOR: Joe Ingles to be offered 4 years at $60M by Orlando

Haha, I was belittled and called crazy when I voiced a prognosis that someone would offer Ingles a contract in the 60-65/4 years range. I'm already feeling kind of vindicated

    Rubio traded to Jazz

As long as the T-Wolves don't use that capspace to go after Hayward, I'm fine with the trade. Ricky is creative and when you don't expect to get 4 adequate shooters long term, you'd just go from 3 to 2 and have Ricky work some Magic and utilize narrow gaps.

    Blake?!

Ya that was my thought exactly. I think he's an okay floor spacer and his finishing in isolation should be better than what Hayward does in those situation and make the Jazz more robust against 4th quarter breakdowns when the offense doesn't find solutions organically.

    Blake?!

Ya, but even if officially it's forbidden to negotiate before July 1st, I'm sure DL knows who to talk in Griffin's camp to get a response about that proposition. If Griffin likes the chances of the Jazz (Starting Lineup: Hill - Hood - Hayward - Griffin - Gobert with Exum, Mitchell, Ingles, Joe...

    Blake?!

CP3 was saying: I'm leaving you regardless. I'd love to go to Houston over a lesser contender, but they don't have capspace. You'll get assets in return if you agree to trade me and I opt in. Blake could say the same: You either lose me for nothing, or I opt in and you get Favors, Burks and a...

    Blake?!

In the wake of CP3 agreeing to opt into the contract in order to get traded, could the Jazz do something similar to trade for Blake Griffin? I'm thinking of Favors + Burks + '18 1st round pick for Blake. You could even argue to add Beverly while we add Exum and Boris nonguaranteed

The Jazz have acquired the 13th pick and select Donovan Mitchell

I didn't say he can't make huge leaps. I just said statistically it's not that likely and advised to avoid unrealistic expectations since the names Westbrook and Wade were mentioned. Maybe starting late means his learning curve is steeper right now, we'll see how long that keeps that way.
