Other than being friends with Mitchell, I'm not sure what this guy brings to the table. Maybe a double helping of gravy?
Looks like he needs to lose 30lbs and play SF to me. I don't expect him to touch the floor outside of blowouts. Maybe not even then.
As I see it, the Jazz defense is built around Rudy. We have poor(ish) defenders everywhere else and funnel opposing players into Rudy. When Rudy is off the floor our entire defense craters because we don't have another rim protector on the team to funnel opponents into. And it becomes...
I have decided that I'm ok with Conley sitting out this series. We don't need him that badly in this series. We will need him vs. CP3 and Kyrie though. Let him focus on resting for the next round and the other guys can carry his load for this one.
I think we need to hope he becomes an average defender. If he just could manage that with his offense he would be top15 in the league. With a slight positive in defense top 10 is in reach.

It makes sense. Favors could either be A) a useful piece for the Jazz, or B) A positive value trade chip, or C) represent cap space. A and B both require we resign him, and if you can find a team that values him more than cap space then B>C. I think a team like Sacramento would pay more for...
