I don't really agree. I think you try to incorporate what works and minimize what doesn't. Just blindly forcing a square peg into a round hole does'nt really sound like a recipe for success to me.
My thoughts on the game:
- Jae looked good. Nice to see him come in and immediately contribute in a meaningful way. A great way to get your foot in the door.
- Favors has zero lift. Every shot he took was flat/short. I think he may just be broken in an irreparable way.
- Jazz missed Rubio...
He took one 18 footer early in the shot clock (I think after an offensive rebound). It was strange for a Jazz player as we had a whole shot clock to look for something better, but he was pretty open. I'll let him shoot that. Maybe next year Quinn will reign in folks a bit and ask them to be...
Well, I'm out. I think they are just outplaying us right now. I don't see us coming back into this game unless we find a way to stop leaving open 3s all over the floor.
Oh, and that woman Diaw was with? Perhaps she is in film?
I couldn't have been more wrong about Rubio. Sadly. I thought he would be fantastic. I thought we could mask his shortcomings and really utilize his court vision and defense.
Instead, he's just a liability out there.
I may have had too much faith in the coaching staff.
