Jazz front office should take a look to Finnish NT roster, and with the light of all their future picks look to a certain Miro Little.
There is a lot to look into Finnish roster, but sadly some of them retired/are retiring. The point is that current Lauri never prevailed without his teammates...
What I'm trying say.
People can disagree (and they will) in their takes, but it is only sad when it goes to personal infights (seen also in this very thread), I as a random Finnish Lauri fan would expect it all should at least to try to be constructive. In tone, and effort.
As it is in...
By all metrics Lauri is rare specimen. Very rare.
On the other topics. The spirit of home fandom, as it is, random dude doesn't register to this site without deep love to either Jazz and/or Lauri. Haters will be very soon separated out of the gold by their own conduct.
There can be very much...
In Hindsight and by Lauri's own statements it is more likely so that he started to become Lauri he is now in part because he got traded to Utah just before his first EuroBasket game. There was extra motivation for him to make a showcase, and trade itself could've been kind a reason for playing...
In a way, that 0.1 secs too late buzzer-beater actually crystallize the meaning of that chart., and his 3pt shooting and shot quality.

This LM appreciation thread, it would be nicer to appreciate him without random pillow boxing on burger taste and other likings, you know.
With all respect.
What is this disagreement going on? Burgers? Lunch suggestions?
Just look that damn graph!!! Insane TS% percentages game after game! And in near continuously steady upward trajectory!
All that and his personality, plus being naturally team player. Even his haters don't dislike him as a person.
It is very hard to imagine Lauri ever becoming prima donna, or court diva, or just generally arsehole.
Don't know exactly how much financial matters weight there in longer run, but as a familyman Lauri surely put some value on stability. I tend to think that continuous moving with family of two little children, and after they start school wouldn't be desirable scenario. I genuinely expect that...
In Finnish media, there has been lately a trend that consist following aspects:
A) Coverage on Lauri's daily efforts seems to exploding
B) Awe for his totally unprecedented balling has reached to a new level
C) Daily sports articles have formed a new standard format in line with: "Lauri...
Maybe so, and at least these losses cannot be generally put upon his shoulders.
But when it comes to a Finnish, team player psyche, I think it is very hard for Lauri be genuinely happy for his personal efforts when it looks like it is always just one FG away, the win I mean.
I'm sure Lauri would merely be 20pts/5reb guy in a winning team than 30pts/10reb dude in a losing one. After certain point personal production numbers become meaningless if they won't also result team wins with them. Hopefully he can handle with that psychologically, and continue his upward...
