If Ricky Rubio didn't suck *** half of the season, then the Jazz would be fighting the Nuggets and Thunder for the 2nd/3rd seed. I don't understand how you could disagree with that statement , but if you do, passive-aggressive name calling isn't going to convince me I'm wrong.
He’s a critical...
Portland has played 31 home games (23-8) and 23 road games (10-13). That puts them on pace for 48-34, which is right where 538 has them.
Anyways, looking forward to a 4-3 series win over the Rockets, then a 4-2 series win over GS and a Jazz/Nuggets conference finals (probably a Jazz sweep). The...
Chemistry means nothing when your play sucks *** Ricky. You're now the 6th seed in the conference with the Spurs recent losing, when you should be fighting the Nuggets for the 2nd seed, and it's mostly because you have been below average all year. Man the F up.
The 3rd seed is actually not unrealistic. Not the most likely outcome, but it's very possible.
I also think Rubio will be playing with more confidence now that he wasn't traded and the return of Exum will give us a boost.
I'd like to go on the record that I never wanted Mike Conley and his albatross contract on this team. I feel like I must be the only happy person on this board today (though getting something for Rubio would have been nice, at the same time reading his thoughts through the twitter made me want...
I actually believe standing pat was the right thing to do. I don't know how Mike Conley got so overrated, but he did, and many of you got caught up in the nonsense that he was going to be some kind of savior. We could have gotten a 3 month rental on Mirotic, but at what price? Isn't he an...
I believe Conley is being dramatically overrated and Lowry the opposite by pretty much everyone here.
I would much rather have Lowry than Conley. With that said, I don't think there's a chance in hell the Raptors are trading Lowry right now.

The 2019 FA class is absurd and is full of the kind of players we've been wanting for a long time. Added Conley/Lowry so we can become WCF contenders this year and next comes with a huge opportunity cost.
This is probably old news at this
WTF? Lowry is having his worst year since he joined the Raptors, and is still (at his worst!) a much better player than Rubio.

Yeah, people just need to be patient. Lowry or Conley take us out of 2019 FA altogether. Neither is a good long-term solution. Nor is Ricky. Jazz FO should stand pat now that they missed out on T Harris.
Mike Conley is not the answer (not for $100 million, and not with DM's need to have the ball in his hands to maximize his contribution).
Ricky Rubio is definitely, definitely not the answer. I want tonight to be his last as a Jazz man.
Exum is still unproven and constantly injured.
We need to...
Mike Conley is near the end of his career and he doesn't make us even remotely competitive with the Warriors. Plus he's ball dominant, and Donovan Mitchell plays best when HE'S dominating the ball. Sending out young Exum/draft picks for him is a horrible long-term decision imo. It's paying...
Anthony Davis isn't going, so Rudy is likely going, but like he said, it wouldn't be the same.
edit: nvm, he may or may not go. I guess his injury isn't as bad as I thought and he might return to play regular games before the all-star game.
