I’d do all of them. The team as presently constituted is boring me. This is entertainment, and barring a very shaken up roster, I honestly have minimal interest in the upcoming season and likely won’t renew my league pass or VPN. I hardly used it after the All-Star break this year.
Plenty of...
So either: (a) in what would be very out of character for the franchise, the FO is BSing everyone about running it back to make sure they maximize return on any trades; or (b) consistent with the entire course of human history, the Utah Jazz are so terrified of being un-good that they are...
I don’t at all get the “Quin is a Top 5 Coach in the League” mumbo jumbo. He is rigid AF and is always good for a playoff flame-out. Not saying there are good grounds to fire him, but I would be thrilled to see him move on.
And those press conference quotes were borderline delusional about how...
Me neither. The only one of those that is close to fair value is the Rudy to Detroit trade. There are not even close to enough picks going the Jazz’s direction in any of the Donovan trades.
By the time this is over, the FO will have talked themselves into running it back and re-signing Ingles, Favors, and Dante Exum.
Is this message not already materially different than we heard last week?
I think the best approach is to cash them both out. There’s a major team culture problem with the team and they are both at the root of it.
I am really interested in knowing which of Don and Rudy the rest of the team feels is the more cancerous drama queen.
I will also add, I think you could build a champion around guys with the physical skills of Don and Rudy. I think BOTH of them might be too mentally soft, whiney, and passive aggressive to build a contender around.
I do believe we would not have the tension between Don and Rudy that we have now if we’d built a better roster around them.
We went too all in on offense, and the guys with value left other than Don and Rudy are too old to get dollar-for-dollar return if we tried to flip them for guys with...
The haul of picks we get in the CHA deal is my fav option, but I could live with any of these deals.
They seem fair for Rudy the player, but honestly seem a little rich in our favor (except for Siakam) for Rudy the contract.
Haven’t listened to the Zanik interview, but the tweeted sound bites from the media make it sound like it was just buzzwords and lame excuses.
I especially liked the “proper” offseason line, which was really just another disguised excuse about how bad the last few offseasons have been. If they...
