The part that kills me is that everyone just assumes that KOC is just sitting there doing nothing. It could just be that no one wants what the Jazz are able to offer right now. What the phrase again, takes two to tango?
Biedrins was injured much of last year it's true. To judge a man based on a year riddled with injuries is ridiculous. Chandler has had some injury issues, but with him it's a one year rental basically. So you try someone who has proven he can be a big man in this league (look at his 06-07...
I would say go after biedriens or chandler with the trade exception. Or use the Harpring TPE to go and see about Gortat. Jamison is a decent player, but doesn't address the "win now" sentiment of the OP. It would be a step backward if you ask me.
I would take Gasol, Not so much on Miller. Chandler yes, Gortat, yes, but they could get him for the Harpring TPE. Granger, DUH but won't happen and harrington, eh...
Could the Jazz take on Bogut if the Bucks were willing? I am not suggesting they would be, but what are the rules on the TPE? Could they package up other players into the deal?
I would really enjoy the Jazz going after a guy like Biedrins. Wonder if that is how they'll go. Beasley would be a good risk/reward option. What about Tyson Chandler? He's an expiring too, so if it worked out, then give him another deal... If not no big deal.
