Hood is a future allstar, he's already scoring at will. He can pass, he can shoot, he has great court vision and basketball IQ.
Parker we don't know yet, we have to let him come back from injury first.
I liked Cotton but he lacks court vision and size. That's a killer for a PG in the NBA. I'm not sure he can be that successful in the NBA.
I hope he'll find a roster spot somewhere but I can see why the Jazz cut him. Utah wanted a pass first PG like Neto, which Cotton is not.
Most of the starters are here (Harris, Faried, Galinari), that's what matters. Lauvergne is not here, but Jokic is as good as him. Basically, those are the starters except Mudiay you see here, so the win would definitely be worth something.
Not everything was bad yesterday. They went back from -20 to -3 so they must have done a few good things.
Now Favors and especially Gobert were bad, and Durant / Wesbrook were on fire, it was a bit too much to win this game.
We saw glimpses of greatness though (Hood, the defense, a slightly...
No but he kinda lost his energy right now. He actually already looked a bit tired at Euro with France. Gasol scored 20+ on him in the semi and we all know how Rudy utterly destroyed him in Chicago last year.
Isn't he too heavy now ? Can't it be that all the weight he added made him less mobile ?
It definitely has taken its toll on him, France played like 10 pre tournament games before the euro (no idea why they did so many of them) then 9 during the tournament, that's a bit much between two 82 games long seasons.
Jazz beat multiple playoff teams including Golden State, OKC and Houston last year so that's not the problem. Their defense more than makes up for Durant when they're at their top.
They just need more rythm and energy.
