I'd say JJJ's odds of developing into an MVP caliber player are at least as good as Don's. Meant in no way to disrespect Donovan. I think if you called up and offered Donovan for JJJ, they hang up. The inverse is also likely true, given how strongly Donovan has taken to Utah and vice versa.

I think you're underestimating JJJ. The kid is a really special talent.

Favors pick and roll play is huge in the second unit. Udoh doesn't give you that. I really think Favors has been criminally underrated around here, and the sad thing is it's probably because he has been so willing to make sacrifices in his own role for the team. He's really a very good player.

I love Donovan as much as anyone, but I don't understand how people can watch his minutes so far trying the role of primary facilitator and think he's better off as a PG. Allowing him to stay at the 2 is a significant benefit to him, and the team, at least at this point in his career.
