Mitchell is awesome for a rookie. But Simmons is an absolute monster. Granted his shooting ain’t the best, but damn his overall play is amazing. On a side note, Fultz will be really good but if the Sixers drafted Mitchell that would have been a really fun Sixers team to watch.

Obviously he ain’t Klay Thompson, but gotta give some credit to Exum after a serious injury. Small sample but 26 mins for 21 points over past 2 is much better output then anything he’s done previously.

That’s exactly what I was going to say... If some of the so called lesser players are performing better on the night then go with them to finish the game. I guess that’s what makes a coach great or not, there ability to see and act quickly during the pressure moments in a game.

That’s where having Exum in over Rubio could have changed the speed of the game. Don’t play to the oppositions tactics, if Exum can speed up the game late then get Rubio out.

Well that was disappointing... Sometimes the main guys just aren’t getting it done. Exum and Favors should have played the game out tonight. Rubio, Ingles and Mitchell just didn’t play well tonight.

Really??? I just watched the highlights and was super impressed, this is also just after a serious shoulder injury. Who said you can’t make a career with a quick first step? Drive and dish or take it to the rim with speed seems pretty simple to me.

Wow... That is some high praise for Mitchell. He will be an exceptional player, but honestly don’t see him getting to top 3 status.

I had a feeling people would be divided on Donovan’s game tonight. He had some amazing patches of play tonight but I guess if your taking 35 shots in a loss then a fair chunk of the loss is on him.

Down 5 is actually not bad considering how bad Gobert and Mitchell are playing. Quin could have left Exum in for a few more minutes, he looking pretty active tonight.

Exum’s time to shine tonight... Looks so much quicker then the spurs vets.

DM will need to start hitting his threes when playoffs come around. There won’t be any putrid defense in the playoffs like we’ve seen the last few games against tanking teams. It is concerning though his 3pt shot since all star break is 33/117. It’s becoming a trend not an anomaly.

So we have people saying Exum and Royce suck... I know these 2 guys have contributed a lot to the recent good record, but it seems pretty hard to get down on any Jazz players at the moment. By the way didn’t Exum just come back from a serious shoulder injury????
