I’ll own up to this. I thought the floor for taking on Westbrook and giving up decent roleplayers was one unprotected or lightly protected draft pick.
That pick essentially disappearing after only one season if the Lakers hit the lottery down right shocked me. I was also surprised that we...
Is there a middle ground where the people involved in 1/6 aren’t heroes or insurrectionists? Maybe they were just idiots who should have been quickly charged with trespassing?
Locke works for the Jazz and literally flies around with the team. If you are looking for a neutral or critical point of view then you are looking in the wrong place.
And I am saying that there will be a large dip because we downgraded across a larger bucket of minutes, and it won’t necessarily be Sexton’s fault.
So as the resident Sexton hater; what type of dip is acceptable in your mind that you won’t be bashing on him every chance you get?
We got pretty...
Disagree here.. because we lost a lot of depth. Expecting the team to not take a dip because Sexton will play an additional 10 minutes a night isn’t realistic. Whose replacing the other 50+ minutes… and yes, I was too lazy to actually look up what the actual numbers are.
We also traded three second round picks and a third bench player. Is it too much to expect an unprotected first, or a first that doesn’t immediately turn into a second?
We won’t know for 4 years, but this literally could wind up being one of those trades that has to be included in the worst...
We were sellers in a sellers market… and there is a chance we gave away all those players (who all had some level of value) for the right to give away more second round picks than what we secured.
They played hard ball and kept the vets to get more value for them mid season, but instead we still sold them cheap while also shooting ourselves in the foot by winning too many games. Poor GMing right there.
