[Jones]BREAKING: Jazz willing to engage Celtics in S&T talks: But Gordon Hayward must agree

 Sorry .. let me rephrase that. I mean .. what would that mean for the Celtics? What are their other options other than trade those that are under contract to avoid or at least go near the luxury tax line?

    Hayward to Boston

Link? Would want to hear this

    Ok...Now what?

Porter Patterson already agreed to other teams. Nobody else good to sign now. If the Jazz is looking for a replacement it would be thru trades now.

    Hayward to Boston

Could it be that Rudy's emergence as the soul of the team, and that fans are loving Rudy more is the reason he left? It could be those letters from kids saying their teacher is in love with Gordon. Hahaha don't mind me ... decompressing from the disappointment. Alright .. moving on now.

    Hayward to Boston

Correction: The mistake was not hiring BS as coach that time as BS was already in contract with Celtics. The mistake was not letting go Corbin earlier so they could have hired BS.

    Hayward to Boston

yeah that peace sign and his reply during an interview after a home win saying it is really special but never did say he wanted to stay was really telling. we saw it and just didn't want to accept it.

    Hayward to Boston

They have time to process and comforted each other after that meeting before the news got out. Unlike us Jazzfanz that was surprised and have to deal individually :(

    Hayward to Boston

Can the Jazz pull a sign-and-trade with Gordon and Celtics? But I guess that much salary coming in will cripple Jazz. And I can't think of anybody I want from Celtics.

Can't wait for reactions from Rudy, Joe, Quinn, etc

    Hayward to Boston

I don't think so. Even if he was given the max, I still think he would leave. The bro-mance is that strong.

    Hayward to Boston

I still can't get how chances of winning a championship is higher with Celtics. Higher chances of reaching the finals yes but winning it, I still believe, the best chance is with the Jazz. But I guess that's just me. I wonder how the Celtics looks like after this season with Bradley, Smart and...

    Hayward to Boston

Me thinks it took that long as Gordon already told them that he's leaving and they are trying to convince him.

    STAYWARD

Has there been anybody who was offered by multiple teams, took time to decide and stayed with his original team? KD last year, LBJ Decision, .. anybody else? All left their original teams. Those who stayed did not prolonged the process - Mike Conley (MEM 2016), Draymond Green (GSW 2015), Paul...

Thus .. chances .. reaching finals. Not "for sure" .. not "winning".

    STAYWARD

I wonder if there's a curveball somewhere - Gordon and George Hill both signs with Indiana. Turner, Young, GH, Ellis and Hill; Big Al, Stephenson, GR3, rookie TJ Leaf, Collison, Allen. ??? not sure though where this lineup fare in the east.
  19. R

    STAYWARD

If Gordon leaves, hope he explains why. I really would want to know. Almost all pros points to staying - being only on the East as the selling point for both Celtics and Heat. East = sure All Star, sure playoffs, higher chances of reaching the finals. Other than that - basketball-wise, at...

    Rubio traded to Jazz

If that report is true that Gordon wants a pass-first PG, isn't this a dig on Hill, Mack and Exum? We all know they are not pass-first PG but to point it out is just brutal. By the way, the Jazz do have a pass-first PG in Neto. Too bad he gets limited minutes during games:mad: Mack!
