Which of our current bigs likeliest to get traded to OKC?

It's precisely OKC's lack of interior scoring which allowed Miami to high pressure the perimeter. Totally agree they are not likely interested in either Millsap or Jefferson. They'd be foolish to not covet Kanter or Favors though...

Which of our current bigs likeliest to get traded to OKC?

My 'bad'; I was looking at post-season scoring, where he dropped down to 12 PPG. https://www.nba.com/statistics/player/Scoring.jsp?league=00&season=42011&conf=OVERALL&position=0&splitType=9&splitScope=GAME&qualified=Y&yearsExp=-1&splitDD= Anyway, I can't see Millsap ever developing a...

Which of our current bigs likeliest to get traded to OKC?

Humorous; OKC isn't gonna just give away their stars. Not sure where our scoring comes from w/o Jefferson; our 2nd leading scorer was Harris, with only 13 PPG... If they would take Kanter and Harris for Westbrook, I'd do it. If they wanted Favors instead, which they likely would...

Which of our current bigs likeliest to get traded to OKC?

"SIZE" isn't just "BIGNESS", it can mean "SMALLNESS" too:cool:

Which of our current bigs likeliest to get traded to OKC?

Now that OKC fully understands their biggest weakness is SIZE in the paint, I expect they will be in the market for a big, even at the cost of losing a good player. We got lots of'em, but I doubt we'd trade Favors, no doubt the most coveted. What kinda trade would you guys envision that would...

Why did Jerry pull out of the Bobcats coaching job?

It is curious it came down to 3 guys, but after Sloan backed out, NEITHER of the remaining candidates were wanted. Or, quite possibly Jerry was rejected and Jordan gave him the option to publicly withdraw, as 'Mellow' suggested. Or MJ & co had already rejected the other two BEFORE Sloan pulled...

Jazz as the third team in a Dwight Howard trade

I'm holding out for the next twin towers to emerge in Utah; Dwight Howard AND Derrick Favors...

Sloan a finalist for Charlotte job

Dam.it; was looking forward to him turning them around. He says he withdrew his name himself; no specific reason. https://www.charlotteobserver.com/2012/06/14/3318856/sloan-withdraws-from-bobcats-coaching.html Wonder if Charlotte take Shaw, would Orlando come calling Jerry...

Sloan a finalist for Charlotte job

Meanwhile, down in Charlotte... https://www.charlotteobserver.com/2012/06/12/3312625/brian-shaw-charlotte-bobcats.html LOL; the guy gives every reason to hire Sloan, but magically Shaw is his choice. Yeah, if they hire anyone BUT Sloan, THEN they'll be sub-.500 for the next several years....

Sloan a finalist for Charlotte job

A very diverse trio. Sloan, who could probably get them to the playoffs quicker (remember, this is the EAST not the wild wild west), Shaw who's likely the hottest new prospect out there, but no HC experience, and Snyder who's been a HC in college and the NBADL, and is known to be a very...

    Jameer Nelson

More of a shooter than a distributor, and even that is mostly jumpers and is streaky. Can penetrate, but not very aggressive about it. Oh, and his defense is only occasional... If we're trying to get younger at PG, he at least would be a threat shooting the 3-ball, but that's about it.

IF Jerry goes to Charlotte, could this get us a better draft pick?

Probably KoC would like to get something in return for losing CJ, so he just might take the trouble to try and do a Sign and Trade....

IF Jerry goes to Charlotte, could this get us a better draft pick?

Interesting; seems MJ interviewed Sloan personally in Utah; didn't know that. https://www.charlotteobserver.com/2012/06/05/3294316/charlotte-bobcats-finish-initial.html May help his cause, may not... I expect if Sloan gets the gig, he'd have input as to players he was familiar with and...

IF Jerry goes to Charlotte, could this get us a better draft pick?

Jerry will be fine either way; Orlando, having just dumped Stan Van Gundy, seems unlikely to give old-school Jerry a call. Not many other spots available.

IF Jerry goes to Charlotte, could this get us a better draft pick?

Not surprising Jerry hasn't heard from them; the Bobcats brass are still interviewing other candidates. I understand the Ewing comment was made only because he and MJ are good friends. Preceding the lottery drawing, Cho's description of what they wanted in a coach sounded exactly like Jerry's...

IF Jerry goes to Charlotte, could this get us a better draft pick?

As Jerry tends to prefer players he's already familiar with, I would think this could establish a new East-West trade route... Not likely he'd give up their #2 in round 1, but they also have the top pick in round 2, which could realistically be used to get Miles and Bell, or more, for...

Jerry Sloan interested in Magic coaching job

C'mon, MJ, you knocked Jerry's Jazz outa the playoffs a few years ago; you owe Jerry one! Kemba Walker & DJ Augustin at PG, Maggette (whatever he's got left in the tank) at SG/SF, Biyombo at C, and picking Thomas Robinson in the draft for PF. That would be a nice group for Jerry to build on...

    Pick One- Carroll or Evans

Carroll played quite a bit, Jeremy didn't. Sadly, Jeremy does not appear to be terribly competitive. Bummer, but he hasn't really developed at either SF or PF.
