Boogie Ellis looking like a worthwhile take on a 2nd-round flyer. Has had a very average career overall but is exploding this season. NBA build, athleticism, and shot-making. He's not a floor general, but could have value as a 2nd-unit, offensive-minded guard.

IMO - it is a clear, intentional, multi-year rebuild but not an outright tank. The latter requires intentionally being as bad as possible for your own pick's value and we are not in that bucket (thankfully).

Lauri is dope. The only real question I ask about evaluating him as a #1 option is can he create his own shot/go iso and get a bucket when he really needs to. His game has definitely improved in that regard, and I think it will continue to do so.

Count me in the “let Russ play” camp. I would love to see it. Think the Viv would go nuts for him. We can still figure out what we have with Sexton, THT, and Ochai. Plus he’ll only need 10 mins or so to get his 30 shots up.
