Donald is about to go through some things...

The reason why nothing ever happens to Trump and all the charges are dismissed and will continue to be, is because he's never done the things he's been accused of which lack of evidence clearly proves. Watch what happens to all those who framed him and accused him of Russia collusion, Ukraine...

    Buyout Targets

Tyreke would definitely be worth taking a risk on. Did the time for the crime, redemption got next. Still had game when he was banned. His offensive repertoire (assuming only a slight drop-off) is only bested by Mitchell. Wouldn't take long to see if he had the proper focus/determination to help.

The official "let's impeach Trump" thread

Very sad that some of you still believe anything on main stream media. Trump and his team are much smarter than the idiot dems who stole the election. Remember when Biden was like the 8th most popular democrat running against Trump and had no chance of winning a primary let alone the democrat...

    Hmmmm you don’t say?

My fear is they will choose to build around Donovan, and send Rudy somewhere else. Donovan will still leave before his contract is up because he thinks he's too important to exist in a smaller market and because Utah is too white. Regular season Donovan is a poor defender with a propensity to...

    Coronavirus

If you've been vaccinated, please go have your blood tested (irrelevant which vax you took). With your doctor, look at your blood under a microscope (capable of at least 300x) and take note of what you see especially concerning rbc's. Diagnostic panel should include levels of all your...

    Is Mike Conley Coming Back?

Don't really want Mike back for reasons already listed, but it would be great to get at least a S&T agreement before he's gone so the jazz can recover a tiny bit of the massive haul they gave up to get him. Would love to get rid of Joe too if it brings back an athletic body. Joe makes all the...

Who is More Expendable: Clarkson or Bogey?

I'd rather trade Bogey, but it's complicated. Clarkson has perfected his role. He slumped for a 25 game stretch which was detrimental, but he's just perfect as a gunner from the bench. Can score in every way from every area on the floor regardless of who is guarding him, of course this comes at...

    Mitchell skipping Olympics

Really great news. Wish Gobert would also. Not sure when he got injured or even what he was dealing with, but he clearly was laboring a lot, especially in game 6. He needs to spend the summer catching/rebounding/throwing 8-10lb medicine balls. Be nice if he could get some leg weight too to...

Official Rudy Gobert Trade Ideas Thread

This is probably true, while not being factual. Mitchell is an arrogant turd who's becoming more so. Mitchell is also the only reason the squad will win a chip or 2 or 3 or.. I think Mitchell already understands how important Rudy is. Rudy does need to work on his offense and improving his...

    Jazz Offseason Plan

I can't really see a financial situation that works to bring Conley back. In addition, Conley breaks down. In addition part 2, Conley and Mitchell together is just not enough size when you consider the rebounding quality of everyone else on the roster. The trade was bad, underachieved, move on...

    Does Quin Survive?

DL does have to shoulder some blame. The Jazz had little option when the going was rough.

    Does Quin Survive?

He shouldn't. Good offensive system, great use of analytics, good repoire with players. How many dubious playoff records does he need before he's axed? The Denver thing was embarrassing, but this year produced a level of dysfunction that goes beyond an unadaptable philosophy. I can see once in...

Official Rudy Gobert Trade Ideas Thread

It's embarrassing how many armchair fans there are blaming Rudy for the loss and trying to trade him. Hardest worker on the team, day in and day out, game in and game out, year in and year out. By every measurable metric, by far the most important player on the roster for wins and both offensive...

Game Thread Jun 18, 2021 08:00PM MT: Jazz at Clippers - Game 6

Jazz will win. Game 5 was simply a letdown of intensity following the news Kawhi would sit. Won't happen today. Hopefully the minivan has been officially totaled and is no longer an option. Ersan instead of Favors would also be a + change imo. Jingles/clarkson/Bojan/Gobert/Oneale/ should play 40...

No Answers - Is it Personnel or coaching?

Really, the last few years it comes down to one persons fault: Rudy. We've seen Jazz defenders get lazier and lazier with only a slight interest in stopping forward progress of the opposing player(s) whether in half court sets or fast break sets because Rudy can deter/change shots once they get...

No Answers - Is it Personnel or coaching?

The personnel is definitely lacking, but game 5 was largely about effort. Knowing KL wouldn't play, our guys mentally felt like that it wouldn't be that hard and were already moving on. After absolutely incredible shooting, they still were only up five. Ingles is a poor defender, and even poorer...

    Jazz in 7

Jazz in 7 agreed. After what might be the worst Rudy has ever been when it comes to deciding whether to close out/stayback/or just stand there with his big feet anchored to the floor with anvils, he puts in a monster performance on both ends (Conley plays) and the Jazz win by a safe...

    Coaches Biting the Dust

I'd trade Quin for Monty, but Quin is a good coach. I used to think he was great, but no longer. Think he deserves some of the blame for debacles like the first half in game four where it looks like no one has an actual clue how to respond to the beatdown nor was there any display of tangible...

Game Thread Jun 16, 2021 08:00PM MT: Jazz vs. Clippers - Game 5

Complacency may become an issue. Maybe the clippers get Indiana version Paul George and he drops 50. Obviously, the Clippers can't beat Utah without Leonard in a series, but the immediate 10% less concentration/intensity that follows news like this is concerning. Playing down to conceived...

    Conley hamstringing again

Agree on all this. Harden has very quick hands and gets steals and deflections in the paint frequently. Quin is a robot and I think it has cost us in the playoffs, and not just this year. Structure is good, but Quin over does it; ebbs and flows should dictate sometimes.
