    Musings on Summer League play

Ummmm... this is almost a given. Every team in the NBA, including countless other clubs around the world are probably all over this tournament scouting players. I doubt Jensen has any other responsiblities aside from coaching the team because Jazz personnel have already been in place to scout...

    Summer League (overall)

That Rivers is able to perform decently against fringe NBA players. Salim Stoudamire won MVP of a summer league a few years back. Could we be looking at something similar with Rivers?

    Beno Udrih???

I'm actually quite surprised there hasn't been rumors linking Udrih to us. I always thought he was a Jazz-type player... I remember when he came into the league they were calling him a "poor man's John Stockton".

    Beno Udrih???

What are your thoughts on Beno Udrih? He's demonstrated that he can be a capable starting PG (recently as evidenced when Jameer Nelson went down near the end of last season). He's not overly quick, but he's solid. I'm pretty sure he'd be OK with starting at the beginning of the season...

    Summer League (overall)

I had my doubts... but John Henson is looking like he'll threaten for MVP honors of the Vegas summer league.

If they do that for 3-4 games THEN my mind will be at ease.

Portland down 18. At least with Trey on the floor... we never got down that big in any of our summer games.

Maybe Lindsey is banking on Curry's ankles acting up again... GSW without their MVP will be great for our pick

    Summer League (overall)

They're not really running an offense... the times McCollum has scored he pretty much went 1v1 against his defender

    Summer League (overall)

I agree with you, but there's something to be said about what situation you get drafted into For our sake... I'm hoping McCollum gets burried on the bench because he can't play off the ball with Lillard

    Summer League (overall)

This begs the question tho... would you rather have better scoring PG that needs to learn to set-up teammates (McCollum).. or a team-first PG that will need to learn how to score (Trey Burke) ?

    Summer League (overall)

dangit... McCollum looking good out there. More points in 1 half, than Burke scored in any game (different types of PG's tho)

    Official Nickname for Gobert

STIFLE TOWER! that's the best one hands down.

The **OFFICIAL** Rudy Gobert is awesome how did he fall to the 27th pick? Thread

Rudy Gobert most impressive stat... TO PG = 0.2 And a 5:1 AST:TO ratio Kid turned the ball over once in 5 games.... pretty impressive considering the type of helter-skelter play during summer league

Let's Discuss...who starts at PF position? Favors or Kanter?

Just put the best players on the court.... After what we experienced last year... we should be happy if they are even on the court together!! (C'mon Ty... your job is riding on this!)

    Rocky Mountain Revue to return??

If I had to guess... I think some NBA teams might prefer the smaller Summer Leagues. Las Vegas Summer League has grown bigger and bigger each year... maybe it's gotten too big for its own good. If I was a NBA GM... I think I prefer to evaluate prospects in the more intimate settings like the...

    Rocky Mountain Revue to return??

Sorry if this has already been posted... but... Bill Oram: Have heard several times this week that the Jazz are interested in resurrecting Rocky Mountain Revue. It’s an active topic of discussion Twitter @tribjazz
