2016 NFL Draft thread

Buccs fan rooting for Ramsey to end up on our squad, relistacally we end up with a Hargreaves or Myles Jack.

Lots of talk about Denver going after a QB. Paxton Lynch from Memphis is often mentioned as being on their radar.

Denver also has 10 picks this draft. After the Clady trade they are:

1st rounder x 1 31st
2nd rounder x 1 63rd
3rd rounder x 2 94th, 98th
4th rounder x 1 136th
5th rounder x 2 144th, 157th
6th rounder x 1 219th
7th rounder x 2 228th, 235th, 253rd (was 3 but one went to the jets in the Clady trade, not sure which one.)

Bet they take Dak.

I'm thinking there is a legit shot either Goff or Wentz falls much deeper than anyone ever thought, ala Rodgers.

I'm nervous the Vikings are going to pick a WR in the first, they don't do that often and it's either usually a monumental hit(Randy Moss, Percy Harvin) or miss(Troy Williamson, Cordarrelle Patterson)..

The pick could end up being Josh Doctson or Will Fuller if Treadwell doesn't fall(Rams might take him). Our GM has a penchant for taking Notre Dame players and Fuller was the fastest player at the combine.

We upgraded 2 big needs in free agency on the offensive line (Andre Smith, Alex Boone) and Safety(Michael Griffin) so they're going after a WR early..

Then probably a LB for Chad Greenway to mentor. Then a CB and a more depth at DT.

How's your TE depth after the ND kid? Most teams run a lot of two TE sets nowadays so I wonder if they could go after the #1 TE in the first and then Corey Coleman in the 2nd before filling out other spots. Add weapons for Bridgewater and then solidify the rest of the team.

ESPN with an article on the winners and losers from the Rams/Titans trade. It lists Denver as a winner. Says while this probably ends and Kaepernick trade it makes Paxton Lynch more likely to fall into the Broncos trade range or Nick Foles (spelling) might be tradable now.

The #Rams traded with the #Titans for No. 1, source said

@RapSheet
#Titans receive: 2016 15th - 43, 45, 76; 2017 1st Rd and 3rd Rd

Rams receive: No. 1, 113, 177.#blockbuster
Horrible trade for the rams. Dumbasses.
There isn't even a home run qb in the draft either.
I think they are going to pick cals qb and cal was not even very good, were they?

So dumb

I like the trade for the Rams, they're one of those talented teams that just needs consistency at the QB position. They have a lot of talent everywhere but the QB position (need to upgrade WR core as well). I like Goff, dude threw 5 ints against the Utes last season but that was a better defense than the team he had around him, and if I remember correctly only 2 of those weren't tipped pass INTs. Another thing I liked about Goff was even in the midst of throwing all those INTs he never blamed it on anyone else and his head never went down and was just ready to get right back out there to try again.

I hope every QB in this draft ends up being a superstar, I'm sick of obsessing over the NFL and having to watch Cincy at Baltimore week 12 on Monday Night Football and the starters are AJ McCaron and Jimmy Clausen.

I hope Laquon Treadwell falls to 23..

I suspect this kid can catch a pass...but can he spell and pronounce his first name properly? My Falcons will be looking for a defensive lineman or an offensive lineman! Knowing how to pronounce and spell his first name....optional!

Reading all these reports of teams wanting to move around in the draft it makes me think Denver is taking a QB in the 1st round. Possibly Paxton Lynch.
