Bracket is below, with lower seed having home court advantage.

Teams will have minutes split 38/10 (starter/reserve)

If you drafted a rookie or for what ever reason a globetrotter... Your player will be replaced by someone similar. For this competition I believe it only affects:
Gas - Donovan Mitchell = Damien Lillard (rookie season)
gandalfe - Meadowlark Lemon = Earl Monroe
Rubashov - Ben Simmons = Magic Johnson (rookie season)

If someone played in the ABA and NBA i'll be taking their best year in the NBA (so long as the years are close enough together).

Some observations:
While doing the simulations here are some of my observations for future reference.

* Everyone has Neto and Diaw to fill out their roster but they only get minutes in blowouts.
* Fatigue from game to game or throughout series is a NON FACTOR.
* The sim will not allow you to mix positions ie I could not have Pippen guarding MJ at SG.
* The simulation isn't perfect, just some fun.

Note:
I decide on the first round ranking in an effort to be as fair as possible. However I am open to the 1 v 16, 2 v 15 format in future if people prefer that. The other format we could use is from the results of the vote where Ellis269 would be #1, Grayson Hands is #2 and so on, however in future I'd ideally like to run this while the vote is going on. Let me know your thoughts.

Also, the simulations may only be available for a few days so make sure you have a look early if you are interested.

Um, for the record, I would never have traded Dominique Wilkins for Stojakovic had I known we would do a simulation.

A certain poster rallied everyone against Wilkins saying he can't shoot 3's and so I had to cave into the pressure and trade him.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
Dang. This is bad ***. This has to be mandatory going forward. Why have we not been doing this already?

Can we set the minutes we want our players to play?

Gobert straight killing TJF. 8 blocks in game 4 alone.

I knew my team would smoke you fools. Even with Ingles starting. Hes balling too. Haha.
 
 
So this doesn't take into account this year's stats. So if multiple players on your starting roster and team had their best year this year it's not looking good.

Run this year's playoffs as a standard for the sim to see how it does. Its not pretty.

What do you mean by this years stats? Are you talking 2017-18? If it doesn't take into account those stats then it would seem that Donovan would be quite worthless, literally, in these simulations. Yet I see Thee jazz fan saying that he lost to a team with donovan on it. How is that possible?

He replaced Mitchell with a rookie Wade. As you can see this simulation is whack. It also requires 12 players and we only drafted 10. Meaning he adds two scrubs to every team that gets 2-3 mins each.

This is so flawed it’s not even funny. I think it had MJ scoring 8 points and still getting the win in Game 4 of the championship between Ellis and myself. We all know that isn’t happening.
