corbin, who wore #23, turned 23 just a month after making his NBA debut with the spurs. he would later come to utah in a trade for thurl bailey, and departed utah in the trade that brought adam keefe to SLC. keefe was later traded (with howard eisley) for bruno sundov and donyell marshall. that means that if we count from bailey through marshall, the jazz got 19 years worth of small forwards just by continually trading for a new guy.
ESPN commentator tim legler wore #23 with the suns, and later he wore that number for washington, dallas and golden state. in between, he wore #18 when he briefly made the jazz roster. his stay here was brief - 3 games, 5 total minutes - but that doesn't stop him from frequently talking about the jazz, coach sloan or karl malone as though he's an expert. he did this when commenting on sloan's resignation and karl malone took issue and called him out for it.
