4-point shot?

A little off topic but i think that when someone shoots a last second shot it shouldnt count against your shooting percentage when you miss.

Only for shots way beyond the 3 point line.

I kinda like the 4 pt shot idea..... but not really.
I wouldnt want there to be very many attempts for it so if it for a shot beyond half court then i would like it

Court widening is unlikely simply because it really alters the ratio of baseline to sideline seats. Sad but true.

I would say a couple of feet in from half court. It would give defenders a reason to extend all the way out to that line.

Wouldn't it create more front row seats, and maybe a row less seats in the back? Wouldn't that be more profitable?

No ****.

How the hell does making the court bigger take away seats in the back? Or is every team building new stadiums?

well there's that. That sure sucks, and makes it near impossible, but not entirely.

Ideas not perfect, but its one I'm sure the nba money grubbers have thought of already.

And really, it wouldn't take a new facility, just some severe remodeling. Teams could get that money back by having their players come in, sign the seats, and then sell them back to the fans for a profit.
