My guess is thats what going to happen. She brings the foreign policy experience that Mitt is severely lacking. Also being an African American woman will help rich white Mormon Mitt. I have to say a Romney/Rice ticket should beat an Obama/Biden ticket. It would definatly be an interesting election.

Also my guess is Hunstsman made a deal with Romney. I like Huntsman and think he would bring a lot of good to the White House in some capacity.

I do like Dr. Rice, but I don't see this happening. She was in the white house because she was part of GWBs good 'ol boy club back in Texas.

There are a few articles out there saying she's very interested in the job. In my opinion her on the ticket makes too much sense for it not to happen.
 
I really don't think Willard needs any help saying, "bombs away" based on reading his No Apology book a few years ago so I'm not sure Condi's foreign policy experience would be worth anything.

I think associating with anything that has to do with GWB is still a little toxic. She is probably the last black woman on the planet that could help a republican take votes from Obama.
 
So the centrist Mitt Romney is going to appeal to the republican base by picking someone even more moderate than he is? A moderate who also happens to have been part of GWB's inner circle. So we get to revisit the intelligence failures up to 9/11, torcher memo's, the invasion of Iraq, Katrina, the financial meltdown and all the other highlights of the Bush Administration?

Doubt it.
 
I can see where the Bush fascist dynasty/MIC/pro-WWIII world population reduction/elimination of fundamentalist religions/New World Order/Total Governance megalonmaniac think tank eggheads could be having wet dreams about things like this. But we would do better, actually, to just re-elect Obama. It would actually make no difference to the RINO/DINO Party, which has seized both (privately-controlled) parties and pretty much edged the public out of the whole political process for the last 150 years, but I just hate to see the Mormon Church dragged into this muck and uttterly discredited. The original Mormons were politically a very idealistic populist sort, at least in the general membership, with a fond attachment for the Constitutional liberties they never really enjoyed in this country, any more than the American Indians had any rights.

I plan to run for office on the Constitutional Party ticket. Oh I know. I might get 450 votes, up from 350 last time. But I figure four more years of the statist fascists and a lot more people will stop throwing their votes away on the monopolist party false "choice" lie.

Human rights is the one eternal political issue worth voting for.

That should be the only clue you need to know that it won't happen. I see Romney picking someone that will do 2 things for him:

1. Energize the more conservative part of the Repub base
2. Bring him an inportant swing state. (Florida, great lakes area, Virginia, Missouri...)
 
Why not Tyra Banks? She's much better looking, is African-American (cuz I'm assuming getting the AA vote is why Romney would ask Rice to join), and is probably just as smart.

How could Putin say no to this?

If I am picking a black woman on looks I am going for Halle Berry or Gabrielle Union (man that is a whole lotta woman...)

Taking any person not of strict European descent or not male will demotivate the Republican base more than it helps with other voters.

Actually, that was strictly personal opinion based on personal observation. However, I thank you kindly for the compliment.
