Time Magazine's reporter Zeke Miller reported that the MLK bust from the oval office had been taken down by Trump. Turns out, someone was just standing in front of it in the picture. Wow, what honest and great reporting we get. Top notch reporting by a so called "journalist" he didn't see the MLK bust, so obviously Trump removed it!!! PUBLISH!

Completely reprehensible and irresponsible, and all we get from the fake news establishment is it was a mistake. No, **** you. We know what you are trying to do. Grow the **** up you loser race bating ingrates.

Its gonna be an 8 long years for the loser Democrats who seemingly will never learn from their mistakes.

With **** like this and ****ed up press conferences like we got yesterday this will indeed be a long 4 years. Almost exactly like Jr. High.

With Trump doing **** like this fake news is the least of his worries.

Trump expressed support for the CIA, but he also veered into political territory, denouncing the news media, boasting about the size of his inaugural crowds, and even discussing his own appraisal of his intellect.

"And then they say, 'Is Donald Trump an intellectual?'" Trump said. "Trust me, I'm like a smart person."

Trump, by contrast, tried to make a joke about how he would "back" the CIA.

"And I know maybe sometimes you haven't gotten the backing that you've wanted, and you're going to get so much backing. Maybe you're going to say, please don't give us so much backing,'" Trump said.

To a gathering of career intelligence professionals, he said, "probably almost everybody in this room voted for me, but I will not ask you to raise your hands if you did."

If you imagine him doing the "backing" bit in the voice of King Julian it's actually kind of funny. Sad and pathetic but funny.

You were on to something with Jr. High.

Lots of folks tell me how smart they are. So here's a Chinese perspective:

"He who knows not, and knows not that he knows not, is a fool. Shun him.
"He who knows not, and knows that he knows not, is wise. Teach him.
"he who knows, and knows not that he knows is a coward. Despise him.
"He who knows, and knows that he knows is a leader. Follow him."

Trump is hard to figure out from a distance, but this blustery disdain for people he knows will not tell the truth, and his antics in dissing them, sure beats the total pass the media always gave Obama. It looked like Hillary was going to get the same kind of obsequious stroking for the next eight years.

I prefer Jr. High to a snow job.

Obama the Marxist hero who bent over for the biggies, and enjoyed every minute of it.

Who cares. Political discourse is a joke. Its been that way for a long time and its not just Donald Trump either. Its part of Trump's persona and I accept it. I think its a 100 times better than fakes getting up there lying about everything, and doing it with a straight face. Most politicians take cheap shots at other politicians and media, but do it with so called professionalism. Its the same thing though. All of them act like children and assholes. Trump's version just has flare, and more honesty.

Obama constantly attacked Fox news throughout his presidency. But since he talks slow and has a lot of pauses in his speech, people think he is thoughtful and a great guy. But its the same damn thing as Trump attacking CNN. Its the very same.

All the Trump supporters tout his honesty but he had been caught in more than one blatant lie. But it always has been easy to overlook someone's faults when he's "your guy". Same with Obama and Clinton from the left.

Its funny how often i hear trump supporters bring up obama when someone brings up trump.

Its like trump supporters are saying "ya my guys sucks really bad but other people sucked too." pretty amusing.

But what about what I actually said? No thoughts on that?

Fox news is not out to report the truth or be honest. They have an agenda are trying to push it through their media reach. CNN is not the best news, they focus on way too much crap and are all about attention grabbing headlines and ratings. They do attempt to report the news and most of what angers you and others about their bias comes from their opinion pieces not their news reporting. Media will make mistakes as do everyone. The key is how they handle those mistakes.

It was poor reporting and a mistake that the person took care of and apologized for claiming Trumps group took down the MLK bust. He should have reached out and asked about it more before writing what he did. It was moved from where it was and he looked for it and did not see it. He apologized and the apology has been accepted by the white house press.

Trump is personally attacking news that do not say nice things about him, it is a personal vendetta. This is far different from what Obama did (although I dont like some of the ways he treated the media) but that does not really matter. What Obama did has nothing to do with Trump. This isnt a comparison it is what our president should be doing and is doing.

Trying to censor, silence or shame media by your countries leader is wrong and a terrible thing. Trumps attack on the media will not be tolerated, even Fox news has become weary of how he is treating media members.

You really to stop comparing and looking to justify the mistakes and bad things Trump does. Obama is not our president, Clinton is not our president. I do not care what their actions are or where when discussing what Trump is doing. His actions are right or wrong on their own merit not on the merit of what anyone else is doing. We need to hold him personally accountable not up to some imaginary standard of what anyone else has done.

The media has really ****ed itself the past decade. The need for clicks and getting out first instead of being the best has really watered down the quality of journalism. Now the whole "fake news" thing has gotten out of hand and any politician can just throw the blanket of "fake news" to deflect anything they want.

I posted my thoughts on what you said. I thought it funny that you brought up obama. Did he constantly attack fox news? Ok. I dont remember the press conferences when a fox news reporter tried to ask him a question and he yelled at them and called them fake news over and over again and wouldn't let the person ask the question. I guess he acted like less of a dick than trump does when he attacked the press. I like it when my president acts like less of a dick personally. I consider not acting like a dick a good quality in a person to be honest.

I don't know why you keep trying to say Fox is so much different and worse than CNN. That's just isnt true. You have a hard time admitting it because of your Liberal bias. CNN absolutely does the exact same things as FOX. You cant prove to me there is a glaring difference. At least I can admit that Fox news is guilty of biased reporting. I'm not a Fox news guy either, so I'm not defending them. I know thats what you want to think even though Ive made it clear on numerous occasions.. I bet that going forward from here CNN and other liberal news outlets will continue to do things like this. You've predictably excused this one as just a "mistake". Thats complete nonsense. You are just CHOOSING to not see it for what it is. I dont get it. Why continue to spin things? It makes no sense. Be fair, be honest, and that will make you a better person. It only flies around here because this is an extremely left leaning site. I'm sure you will deny that too, but whatever.

I would prefer that we lived in a world where our president doesn't have to shout down a news reporter, but why don't we start with fixing what the cause of the problem is, which is the fake news reporting on the left. He has every reason to do what he did. They are reporting him of doing extremely embarrassing things that weren't true. Its so stupid to try and play this card that he should be more professional and just take the ridiculous attacks from the fraudulent "jounalists". I don't see the left fighting to let Alex Jones say whatever he wants with all the nonsense he reports. They go right after him. Again, be fair, be consistent, and be honest. Being extremely biased makes you look like an idiot that can't think for yourself.

Watch this video. This might help explain some things.

They are not the same. CNN is poor news organization that has left bias especially in their opinion pieces and from their talking heads so give their opinion on the news. The actual news itself isn't great and they don't have the highest standing but they are attempting news. Fox news is not presenting news they filter everything with their opinion and agenda. A better comparison for Fox news would be the daily show who is also not a news group. The only difference between those two is to daily show is sometimes funny.

I don't watch CNN because it's bad news. I don't watch Fox because it's not news or funny. I sometimes watch the daily show for humor not news.

Anyone who is watching fox news for balance is kidding themselves and needs to find better news and stop watching it. People should also stop watching CNN and they will improve or away. Hold yourself to a higher standard for news, it exists and is readily available.

Also repeating that Trump is sticking up for truth makes you look bad when the majority of statements he makes that are verifiably are lies. He is trying to suppress truth.

Also calling things left or right makes you sound ignorant. As well as calling the fake news a left problem. It's been verified and there are facts that it is happening all over the place. Including a huge push towards people who supported Trump during the election.

It is funny how you Obama supporters kept bringing up Bush FOR EIGHT YEARS in defense of Obama.

Now you hate the same thing being thrown in your face. Admit it the left despises when there own tactics are used against you.
