All else being equal, who would you rather have running the Jazz: Bledsoe or Burke

Who would you rather have as the Jazz PG of the future?

Bledsoe for me.

He's slightly taller, but has insane athleticism. He can dribble/drive, beat the on ball defender with ease - then he can finish with authority at the rim or he can also pass it. He's unselfish. 3pt shooting has been good this year.

He's ready to break out ala Harden - we just have to give him the key.

Also with his lack of length and leaping ability, I just think Burke will really struggle at the next level.

Having said that - if we do miss out on Bledsoe - I think Burke will be decent and I wouldn't be sad if we got him this year.

Let's take leadership into account too.

What has Bledsoe ever led? He was 2nd fiddle at UK, 2nd fiddle for the Clippers. He isn't a natural born leader like Burke.

Bledsoe, but it's a good question. Bledsoe has te defense, strength, speed, athleticism.. Burke has the leadership, iQ, and pure PG feel.

I went with Burke here. I'm not convinced Bledsoe is a real PG. I'd definitely make the trade being rumored, but I'm not locked into making Bledsoe the starting PG on a contending team. I really like Burke's leadership, feel, and ability to change speeds. Yeah, I'd like a PG who can get above the rim and dominate with athleticism, but he has to be a real PG first. The jury is still out for me.

Unlike Burke, Bledsoe has proven he can play in the league. Thats always a pretty big first step.

And shooting, you know, that thing that allows you to score points when you aren't 5 feet away from the rim.

Why don't you add Kemba Walker to this poll and see how many people would choose him? He lead UCon to championship didn't he?

That said, knowing that we have Bledsoe would make me feel better about drafting Oladipo or Otto Porter, if either were available. Getting Bledsoe is definitely a step forward.

Edit: Oh, or Archie Goodwin.

An argument might be made that Alec Burks has looked as competent at PG as Bledsoe, but I haven't watched too closely.

Walker is actually having a pretty good year. He could be a pretty good PG on a team that had players who actually complimented him.

Besides the point though. Leadership does matter.
