Anyone ever set up projector with screen?

So since I’m bored out of my ****ing mind, I’m considering buying an outdoor projection screen and outdoor projector. Anyone have any experience with this.

I’m leaning toward this screen.

Not too pricy. Good reviews. 100” which I think is big enough.

But I’m a tech retard and don’t know how to proceed so far as outdoor projectors.

I looked at this list as a starting point. I was very surprised how cheap some of them were. I know you sometimes get what you pay for and I certainly would like very good image quality but yeah, anyone?

Should I have my electrician over to run a line outside for the projector? Should I go another route as it seems one on that list (at least) seemed to be one I could hook up to my WiFi somehow.

Please someone who has some experience with this and is less idiotic than me, help.

Projectors have gotten much cheaper. I prefer a projector to a TV these days.

Are you trying to set it up permanently? Or just one in awhile for movie night or something?

Most other's projectors don't have speakers or at least not good ones. So that's your first issue outside. It's easy enough to him your projector to a laptop or we just about anything so WiFi is nice but but needed usually. You can just run an extension cord outside to hook it up to. Unless it's a permanent thing, then you need to do more.
