The Utah Jazz and head coach Quin Snyder have parted ways, a source close to The Tribune has confirmed. This comes on the heels of a 122-109 victory over the Los Angeles Lakers to snap a five-game losing skid. “We appreciate the large contributions that Quin Snyder and his family have made to this organization over the past 8 years,” Jazz owner Ryan Smith told the Tribune late Thursday night. “The sacrifice and dedication he has shown this franchise is unmatched and we wish Quin and his family the very best with Quin’s future in the NBA and their future as a family.” The Utah Jazz are expected to make a formal announcement late Friday morning announcing assistant coach Alex Jensen as the acting interim head coach. More details to follow.”
