Kia NBA Rookie of the Year

• Donovan Mitchell, Utah Jazz

• Ben Simmons, Philadelphia 76ers

• Jayson Tatum, Boston Celtics

Kia NBA Defensive Player of the Year

• Anthony Davis, New Orleans Pelicans

• Joel Embiid, Philadelphia 76ers

• Rudy Gobert, Utah Jazz

NBA Coach of the Year

• Dwane Casey, Toronto Raptors

• Quin Snyder, Utah Jazz

• Brad Stevens, Boston Celtics

Most likely to bring home hardware is Gobert, figure he’s the favorite of any of our guys to win their specific Honors

I think the analysts took Utah being the only team involved in all three categories into account.

My predictions (not my own vote mind you):

COY - Stevens
ROY - Simmons
DPOY - Gobert

They split the awards to different teams. No team gets more than 1 award.

Also to me this says that Utah, Boston and Philly are the three elite teams of the future.

I think Rudy will rightfully win DOPY.

For COY, I’m hoping Quin can pull it out, but at probably unlikely. There could be a chance the vote split between Casy and Stevens may end up giving Quin enough to win. Unlikely, but I think Casey may win COY. Would be very happy for Quin though would be well deserved.

Then of course the most contentious. ROY. I think Simmons will win it, and I’m pretty damn certain of that. God do I wish somehow Donovan would get it. It’s probably the one I want the most just cause it’s Donovan. Probably isn’t happening, but it would be oh so sweet.....or the NBA vould do the right thing and do co-ROY.

So stupid if Donovan doesnt win. How the hell do you give it to a player who cant even shoot the ball. Literally cant shoot. Most likely shoots with the wrong hand. Its so garbage to be that bad of a shooter and not be a center.

Ben Simmons is so overrated. He is a great passer Ill give him that, but he is gonna turn into a player who doesn't live up to expectations. While Donovan will be a bona fide MVP candidate and superstar.

Donovan had a better season plain and simple, and actually was a real rookie. Voters should at least consider that even though the rules say Simmons is eligible. It should matter even just a little.

Can’t discount the fact that Utah made the playoffs despite Hayward leaving and being carried by a rookie while going 29-6 to end the season

I will be shocked if Rudy doesn't win. I know he missed 26 games, but there wasn't another player this season that impacted the game on the defensive end the way Gobert did. Plus the run we went on to end the season once he came back, that definitely wasn't a coincidence.

Discount Quin or Donovan? They’re both amazing, I think Quin is more likely to win COY than Donovan is to win ROY.

Gobert will win. Mitchell and Snyder will both be runner-up.

All three should win if were being honest.

Nobody thought we would make the playoffs let alone win a series and a game against OKC/Houston while being the 5th seed.

The same people who vote for the awards are the ones who predicted Simmons would win ROY before the season even started. To vote for someone not even in the discussion before the opening tip would be admitting they are clueless hacks who do not actually cover the entire NBA, but only the major markets. Simmons will win it, not because he deserves it, but because the people who vote for him are unable to admit their prediction was wrong.
