I'll bet Jason would be happy to eliminate all of the adds if you were willing to replace the lost revenue. If you're not, don't ask him to get rid of advertising. It's the reason he's willing to maintain this site.
 
Thanks for the note. This site is supported by advertising and that's a careful balance. Some of you know the history here and I haven't changed from that stance as long as things are self-sustaining. That said, I did shift the ads slightly this week and this is a result of that. I'll continue to adjust it as to not become ridiculous but still support us.

As an aside, roughly 15% of the traffic here is using an ad blocker. I'm grateful to those that allow JazzFanz.com to display ads and I'll continue to make sure it doesn't become obnoxious. If you run an ad blocker, I understand it but ask nicely if you'd disable it for this domain. If there's something that is causing you to run one here, like @RJF stated in starting this thread, please let me know.

Hot damn, I have ad blocker but for some reason it didn't even register to turn it off to support the site. Will do.

I didn't save the urls. But i was redirected once while idle on utah jazz section, and twice i tried to open a thread, and instead i saw a full page ad with an X at the top. Clicking the X closed it and took me to the intended page. I'll save the addresses next time I encounter them.

Same setup and same problem. The drop down ads that I have to click are getting a bit much as well. Sometimes I have one at the top and one at the bottom that block things even when I minimize them and I have to minimize them often.
 
Removed the overlay ads (full screen on mobile and pinned ads to top and bottom). May have to add one back but lets see how it goes.
