Big Al...if true, Center or PF?

I was looking at Minnasota's depth chart and saw that he is technically listed at PF and Love at C but his profile page says Center.

Would he be able to play along side Millsap at the C or play along Memo (when he gets back) at the PF with Millsap off the bench.

I personaly would rather have Memo off the bench then millsap

Any thoughts?

Center, because we have Sap at PF, and no real center (who is good). Jefferson has enough height to play center, and he has the power low post game.

I dont know enough about Big Al's midrange game though, hopefully its at least decent. Same goes for Sap, he made huge strides last year with his midrange, hopefully he continues.

Yes, Jefferson has played at the 5 for much of his career and I assume he would do so here.

He was more effective last year at the 4, but doesn't mean he isn't effective at the 5. I think he can play both, which is nice to have a player that can play both positions.

My eyes are starting to cross with the flood of Jefferson info, but I thought I just read something about him losing his mid-range game... but possibly because of a difficult transition to the triangle offense?

Like Boozer&Millsap, I think Jefferson&Millsap could play together effectively against any frontline except for the Lakers and Magic (and possibly the Spurs and Rockets).

His mid-range game is pretty dreadful. On the positive side he's only 25 and still has time to develop a consistent mid-range jumper, but for now I just want him to give us the rebounding and low-post scoring he's demonstrated that are his strengths.

Our Front line will be Millsap-Jefferson or Jefferson-Okur pending on the matchups.

We know Millsap can be effective coming off the bench and I think adding Okur's perimeter shooting to the 2nd unit would help since we lost Korver

His jumper will never be as good as Boozers, but he doesn't really need it to be. He can back just about anyone down in a matter of seconds. Jefferson can play center, but it would be ideal to always have either AK or Milsap on the floor with their great help D.

Also don't forget Okur can play PF too, like he did in 05-06 while Boozer was out. Sure you can say the achilles may cost him some athleticism or quickness but he wasn't quick or athletic back then either. I think Jefferson, Millsap, Okur can all play together in any of the 3 combinations 80% of the time.

Okur should come off the bench starting the year. And Sloan better not make adjustments unless we aren't winning enough. If are wins aren't where we want them than move Millsap back to the bench.

Exactly. But I think Fess will start for us at the beginning, unless he signs elsewhere. I really don't see him getting an offer at this point that we wont match.

Holy crap, I just had a vision of Deron Williams playing with a guy who can actually score consistently in the low post- instead of the high post like Boozer. This trade is just too good to be true. Please God let it be true.

I see Jefferson and Millsap starting. Because I think Fesenko will be the odd man out once Okur comes back.

I honestly think a team will offer Fesenko a contract. I hope not. But I see someone offering him a deal now that the Jazz are in the luxury tax. Knowing they can get him for 3 Million per year away from us and we probably won't match.

Luckily, not every team is the Portland Trail Blazers.
