Bozzer injured

Everyone who is surprised by this raise your hand.

Anyone?

Beuller?

Beuller?

I heard he needed an excuse to pick up his girlfriend when she was done being on the Bachelor?
Anyone know if this rumor is true?

He was approaching nearly 40 percent games played this season and knew that his reputation was going to be ruined so he "hurt" his ankle. Heaven forbid he actually play 50 percent of the games that his franchise pays him for.

Boozer's philosophy is to keep expectations as low as possible. Just imagine if he had played in all 82 of the games this year? Then people would be miffed when he misses any games in the next few years. It would prevent him from taking the annual vacations that he so desperately needs between December and April.

As long as he misses most of his first season with the Bulls, they'll be satisfied if he shows any improvement over the course of his contract. Maybe next year he'll play 35 percent of their games. The year after maybe 40 percent.

What I find amusing is that he left the arena in a boot. I mean how many NBA players sprain their ankles, limp off to the locker room and then just get it wrapped? From what I understand, Carlos' latest injury was completely non-contact.

I'm not saying his injury isn't legit. But he has to be one of the unluckiest or most injury-prone guys in the league. If you're going to have Carlos on your team, you best have a decent backup. At least the Bulls have Gibson. He's not bad. Better than who the Jazz have behind Millsap (Elson).

He has a low pain threshold I think. I also think a person's pain threshold is largely a mental thing. It seems that Carlos takes every little twinge very seriously.
