I'd keep Tomic. He's an asset who's only going to get better. He might be better than the #12 pick all by himself.

Get it, but don't include Tomic. Tomic looks like he could be a very nice piece in the not too distant future.

I would love to grab the 19th pick somehow. You would have guys like Damion James, Whiteside, James Anderson, Avery Bradley, and Alabi possibly available. Some great high risk high reward types.

I agree that we should hold on to Tomic unless a sweet top-5 pick is within reach. And I also agree that we can, with our other assets, turn a 19th pick into a 12-14 pick.

The best case scenario, IMO, is to use Tomic + #9 in order to move into the top 5 (or 6), and then follow the trade guidelines above.

At 6 draft either Cousins or Monroe
at 12-14 draft whoever is available between Henry, Babbitt, or George.

Interesting that these "assets" you mention don't require players. You think #19 and the Memphis pick nets you 12-14? Lot of deals that depend on other deals working. One hits a snag and the whole thing just flies apart.
