Perkins is IMO a very solid center that I think could work perfect in our system. Does a deal involving Perkins and our 9th pick intrigue anyone else?

Maybe I'm a bit delusional, but I see a few deep second round guys in this draft that could be better than Perkins with a similar style. Dexter Pittman/Derek Character, etc.

That's the unfortunate reality. Perkins would really be good for the Jazz, but having two bigs with knee and ankle injuries is just something that you really shouldn't do. Hopefully the Jazz could sign him next year, perhaps?

The Sheed void is moot since they wouldn't have Perkins starting anymore. Really bad for the Jazz. Perkins is hurt. I'd find it borderline bad if Perkins was healthy since he's only got one year left on his deal.
