The Thriller

Anyone else hear about this?

"I heard about LeBron's little tweet today that he's remembering everybody who said anything bad about him," Barkley said. "And he said 'everybody.' Well, I want him to make sure that he puts my name on that

  • Barkley, Michael Jordan and Magic Johnson, all hall of famers, criticized the move by Chris Bosh and James joining Dwyane Wade in Miami to form a super team. All three players said it wasn't a move they would have made.

Even worse for Barkley was LeBron's one-hour special to announce where he was taking his talents, and the ensuing party-like event the Heat hosted for all three players.

"I thought that his little one-hour special was a punk move. I thought them dancing around on the stage was a punk move, and I thought he should've stayed in Cleveland. Him joining Dwyane Wade's team was very disappointing to me."

After these comments, don't expect James to invite Barkley to a cookout on South Beach anytime soon. That, however, doesn't seem to bother Barkley.

"He's got enough people kissing his *** with his family and all the people who work for him," Barkley said. "We don't have to tell him what he wants to hear all the time. That's one of the reasons why ... some of these young guys ... my opinion is he should have stayed in Cleveland

Add Malone to that list. He was surprised when James bailed on Cleveland.

Good I know I laughed, good ol Chuck always is good for things like this. Anyway this to me indicates how many of today's bball athletes are, things just come so easy for them they don't realize winning a championship is supposed to be hard and combined that with many are close friends they just figure why not.

Best part right there.

That's pretty good. I wonder if Charles remembers when he asked Phoenix to trade him to Houston so he could play with Hakeem and Drexler.

Right smack in the prime of career like LeBron, eh there bloodz?

Gee, Sloany, I guess if youz can call 23.2ppg and 11.6 rpg, along with being on the Atlanta Olympic team the downside, I guess I sure don't know, sho nuff. Or was ya tryin' to make a point that mebbe ol' Chuckster wasn't in da prime of his career when he acted like a total douche to get his sorry *** traded out of Philly and to Phoenix? What exactly was it you was tryin' to say, eh Sloany?

LOL @ Karl Malone yappin about him chasing a ring by joining the ****ing Lakers.

I never for once thought less of Karl for doing such. Now he picks Lakers over Miami?

Karl is a ******.

Not enough 13 year old swamp girls in his diet, lately, so it seems.

Pretty sure he didn't have a one-hour narcissistic special about heading to Houston and then follow that up with a big danceathon in the Toyota Center.

The rage people feel about this, including our buddy Karl, is how the whole thing went down. Although Charles was admittedly bothered by just the fact that he joined Wade.

Well if you want to analyze his original statements he said that he wouldn't have had a one hour special and danced on stage and that's what he had a problem with. He also said on NBA TV right after the decision he would have tried to do it himself if he was 25, and he did. I'm just guessing here, but I doubt the 76ers ever had the 1 seed and overall best record with Barkley like James did twice. Barkley is right, it was a punk move.

Malone said nothing against Lebron changing teams, so you can't give him crap for that. Everyone is just disgusted with the decision show. Plus they feel Lebron is lowering his own standards by joining someone else's team.

I'll give him that: the ESPN special followed by the dancing ******** with him, Bosh, and Wade were punk moves. I just don't think Barkley's one to talk regarding star players going to play with other star players.

Reminds me of never being able to beat that Nintendo game. You knew that with time you could eventually beat it but you just didn't have the patience. Then came along the Game Genie and solved all the problems. After beating the game, it just didn't feel the same because you needed some help doing it. I hope the Tres Douches feel this way after winning a championship.

Yeah, I never really had a problem with LeDiva until he started wearing "LBJ MVP" shirts and refusing to shake Dwight Howard's hand. Even then I was willing to give him a pass...after the top douche maneuver of having the one hour special and dancing his way into Miami he lost me. Still, I don't think I will ever hate the Heat as much as I hate the Lakers.
