Let this photo be your guide on how to locate the new comet. We tried last night, but clouds on the horizon where it would be visible on the 16th obscured it. Apparently, most will need binoculars or telescope to see the tail. Most good photos are time exposures and not what you can expect with naked eye. But that may change as it rises higher through July. See the Twitter search link below for many good photos....

A few observers in the Southern Hemisphere are beginning to capture Comet NEOWISE, too. Charts here for seeing the comet in late July and early August.
