The Pacers are trying to unload him. He only has 2 years left on his deal. Ive always thought he would fit perfectly here........ but is he healthy?

Not a bad move. But say goodbye to our potential top 10 pick if this happens.

Yeah, only one year left on his deal according to Shamsports. Also, I read that they shopped him and found nobody interested:

The Indiana Pacers have begun exploring trades of Danny Granger and Gerald Green.

With David West set to re-sign on a three-year, $36 million contract, the Pacers are trying to improve their salary situation.

One rival executive said that the Pacers were finding no takers for either player during their initial efforts.

Despite the Pacers' desire to find a destination for the often-injured Granger and Green, they're finding "no market" for either player at the moment, one rival executive said.

Would Indiana ever consider just dumping him for salary relief or a trade exception? Probably not, but I would be interested if they were willing to just drop him. I'm not sure what I'd be willing to give up for him though.

Thats a pretty nasty starting lineup if Granger can stay healthy. Probably a playoff team.

I don't think he can stay healthy and he's probably lost a step. I want the Jazz to acquire longterm/future assets with their cap space and Granger doesn't fit the bill (unless part of some multi-team deal).
