Before this election cycle, I have usually leaned a little left on some things. But everything that has transpired over the last couple years has pushed me more to the right.
Does the left continue with this? Or do they try run on things like climate change? Which Im 100% on board trying to fix. If we would have heard more about that, I would have been more open to voting Democrat. Had Bernie been the nominee I would have been even more open. Instead, it was all about pitting white people against everyone else, and making them out to be bad people. All Hillary ran on was how bad Trump is and how offended we all should be, and not any issues. It was a huge turn off.
“Trump Won Because Leftist Political Correctness Inspired a Terrifying Backlash.” Bill Maher lectured liberals, “You’re outrageous with your politically correct ******** and it does drive people away.” A Politico piece argued, “To many Trump supporters, Clinton … was merely another ‘PC’ liberal griping about ‘micro-aggressions’ and ‘triggering’ language.”
