Derrick Favors ceiling.

I'm thinking 20/10 +, as well as a few all star appearances. Besides Blake Griffin he is easily the most talented young big man in the western conference.

I am expecting a breakout year from Favors as long as he gets the minutes. He's a stud. 20/10+ for sure.

I imagine the ceiling in his car is pretty tall, too. ;)

P.S. I agree. Favors seems to play hard the whole game. There's no reason he can't at least average a double-double this year. I think it'll depend on playing time, because there aren't many players big enough to slow him down.

Very high ceiling. I don't think he will be as good as a defender as dwight, but he will be better on offense. He has a better shot than Dwight. Which will be great for free throws.

Yea and he actually has a decent mid-range jump shot. Something Howard will probably never get.

Locke made this comment last night "He is scoring without a go to move, without really any move at all."

I think Favors has a very high ceiling, but I do think he needs to develop some reliable moves to reach that.

What about his dunk it in your face move?

From Steve Luhm's twitter "Don't know what will happen with Derrick Favors, but when the Jazz decided Karl Malone was ready, they traded Adrian Dantley."

At this point, I'm ready to see Okur/Jefferson/Bell leave sooner rather than later.

I think he is the kind of player that almost doesn't have a ceiling. I think this season we will see him dominating more off his sheer physicality, next year he will refine post moves, then if he can add a consistent 15-20 ft jumper he is unstoppable. That is a lot of "what ifs", but as long as he works hard on improving every year, I think he can obtain these things (like Millsap + height).

Personally, I think he'll be a 19/12/3 guy at some point but think it's silly to think his ceiling is just 20/10. I think he could be a 25/13/3 guy. Could.
