They signed Kaman to a 1 year deal
They traded for Collison who is an expiring contract
They are trying to trade for Calderon who is another expiring contract
They are definitely trying to add pieces to stay competitive but it's obvious that they want to retain their cap space for 2013. It's just Dallas doesn't have much to offer us except Beaubois and future picks
Maybe a 3 team deal?
