What's new

Dononvan Mitchell is Trash

What happened now??
HH gave a summary of stuff Windhorst said in the trade deadline thread. Basically something about Ainge issues and Donovan/Rudy issues still being there.

I saw some of the Windhorst stuff, but that made it seem like there was still Rudy / Donovan tension but it was a 2-way street. Cy just wondering why you're specifically calling out Donovan so strongly at this moment?

Don wasn't the one who cried to the media that his teammates aren't playing good enough defense.

Because Rudy is the better player mostly.

I also think the team's faults are mostly due to Donovan and the amount of work that has been put into placating him on and off the court.

This team would be much better off if they listened to Gobert vs listening to Mitchell. Gobert is the far superior player when it comes to IQ.

Yeah I didn't like this one bit either. Thought it was really bush league especially since he couldn't even be playing at that moment.

Im sure Gobert asked them to play D way before that...
Rudy Gobert went out and complained about his teammates not playing like other particular players on other contenders. It was a BS, backstabbing, personal attack.

Don has never done anything like that ever. Stop calling him the diva.

And it was 1000% right.

Mitchell just goes to the media and leaks stuff. That's diva and coward behavior.

It doesn't matter if he was right. He had no business going to the media to complain about his teammates. That's sports 101. You don't do that crap.

There is no proof to your "leaking to the media" stuff. And have you ever seen even a "leaked" media story where Donovan complains that Rudy can't catch a simple pass? Or he can't score outside of 3 feet? No, because even BS leaked Donovan Mitchell stuff doesn't contain personal attacks.

In regards to Rudys comments, anyone who's covering their coworkers mistakes on an every day basis and then getting blamed for the loss of a contract is going to speak up. I'm certain he tried to do it in house but the team didn't respond like they probably should, so he called them out. The Booker comment was probably too obvious, but also there was a lot of truth in it. Honestly, I don't blame Rudy after he was basically blamed for last year's collapse and he was the only one giving 100% effort on the defensive side.
If the coaching and management were holding people accountable we never would have gotten here.

I just wish Rudy would've spoken up when he was actually playing opposed to wearing street clothes.

Donovan Mitchell has the absolute worst signature shoes of any major shoe deal signee.

I'd rather where the Gordon Hayward Anta's than those pile of *****.

Why? Him wearing street clothes is when the awful truth of this team's lack of defensive effort is exposed for what it is; total ***.

I'm not a fan of the call-out myself, but it's a little different when he's also 100% correct.
