Dunleavy should've been thrown out of the game for this bush league, Flagrant 2 foul, with a fisted punch to the throat of Carter-Williams that wasn't called prior to Giannis's flagrant, see below. Dunleavy also knocked Giannis in the throat in the play just prior to when Giannis fouled him. Dunleavy made another similar foul earlier against Carter-Williams.

He needs to be suspended for at least one, maybe 3 games for each of these dirty plays.

What a douche bag, I would have chased him down the court and deliver my best shot. To the throat nonetheless... he could have seriously injured MCW.

One thing is shoving and pushing around hard, fighting harder for your position and another is deliberately throwing a punch at someone's throat.
 
Yea he should be suspended that was pretty blatant. The closed fist says it all. When do you ever close your fist making a basketball play.

...I totally agree with the "Green man....in the Library...with the candlesticks" assessment! If anything, and I'm sure it will happen....Giannis should be suspended at LEAST 5 games if not 10 for his egregious foul on Dunleavy! Sure there was some pushing and shoving going on around the basket before this incident, but that's what happens in playoff basketball these days! Sometimes the refs catch it, sometimes they don't. Sometimes they call the foul, and sometimes they don't! But to line up a guy in your sights and then plow full speed into him like this was the NFL.....that's a 10 game suspension right there! Dunleavy could have literally been killed by that tackle! He was in the air shooting a 3 pointer and very vulnerable to such a blow by that puke!
 
Dunleavy suspended? ha ha. That's rich. How many guys throw malicious punches to a guy's throat while looking the other way? MCW came in, Dunleavey went to push him down (a hard foul) and was looking the other way when contact was made and Dunleavy went after the ball.

Giannis is a little bitch. Instead of body checking Dunleavy, why don't you try to not be down 40 points? Pathetic.

I totally disagree. What Dunleavy did was far worse. He punched MCW in the throat with a closed fist, and hit Giannis in the throat, as well. Then later he went for MCW's throat again and that's when MCW threw him on the ground.

Giannis gave him a body block and Dunleavy deserved it, and I think if anything Dunleavy should get a worse punishment.

Fair enough. We will see who the NBA agrees with. If Dunleavy gets nothing...then they agree with me. If Dunleavy gets suspended, they agree with you.

Gave him a flagrant one -- I still TOTALLY disagree, and I wrote on NBA.com my reasons -- mainly because what Dunleavy did was not only more dangerous than a body block, but the fact that he used a closed fist indicated it was INTENTIONAL.

I think you're a lot less likely to get injured with a tackle than a punch in the throat. They allow you to tackle someone in the NFL but not punch someone in the throat, and for good reason.
 
Can't believe they only gave that puke for the Bucks a 1 game suspension! What does a guy have to do to get a 5 game suspension in this league? Hit a guy with a baseball bat in the head? Jab a knife in his gut? Kick him in the head like a stomped on toad frog? That tackle was as vicious as I've ever seen! Who reviewed those tapes for the league office....

CJ, you're an old-timer. What would you do if someone punched you in the throat, or one of your teammates? Dunleavy did it three times. Tackling someone is not nearly as egregious as punching someone in the throat ... where is your sense of proportion?

....the physical contact under the boards or wherever it happened did not appear to be all that egregious....either to me or the powers that be, who make decisions on flagrant fouls! On the other hand, the Bucks guy deliberately and premeditatedly ran full speed with vicious intent to do bodily harm to Dunleavy! Dunleavy's foul was upgraded to a flagrant 1. I have no problem with that! But the decision to suspend the Buck clown for just 1 game, was almost as egregious as the foul itself....almost! Had it took place in Chicago, I don't think the kid would have been able to leave the court back to the locker room without a beer bottle thrown at his noggin! You realize in Chicago, you bring a knife, they bring a gun! You send one of there guys to the hospital.....they send one of your guys to the morgue!

CJ, the league set the bar for playoff discipline this season with Smith only getting a 2-game suspension.
