So how was everyone's team for the first week? Who were you happy with? Who are you dissapointed in? WHo's everyone picking up in the waivers?

I got a win this week. Ochocinco did well but I was really dissapointed in Brandon Marshall. Hopefully he will pick it up. I also got some good pick ups. I picked up Vince Young and Nate Washington and as a Ute fan I had to plug my nose and get Austin Collie. But he looks like he could start being a big option for Payton Manning.

Who do I start this week?...Hines Ward at Tennesee..or Brandon Mashall at Minnesota?

Neither because u should delete your entire team. Collie lover.

JK. U gotta go with Marshall. He has more upside.

I lost last week because my two backs, Micheal Turner and Shonne Green sucked it up.

I'm tryin to decide between Wes Welker @ NYJ and Hakeem Nicks @ IND this week.
 
In one of the leagues put together here on JF, I have Drew Brees, Chris Johnson, and Arian Foster. Not bad considering I missed the draft. VERY happy with that team. The other league is a different matter entirely.
 
I have Nicks and I'm playing him; but they've already confirmed Revis is guarding Moss. The other Jet corners (Wilson, Cromartie) are probably the only weak spots in the their D. So Welker may be the go-to guy for NE on Sunday.

And yes, I picked up Michael Vick off waivers and as of now I'm starting him Sunday at Detroit.

This is my thinking. The Pats will be throwing all day and even if Welker doesnt get a TD he should be good for 100 yards. On the other hand, Nicks is a stud when healthy and the Giants are a passing team now. Also, its fun to have your guys playing on Sunday and Monday Night. I'll probly go with Welker but I'm not positive yet.
 
How do you guys like having more than one fantasy team? I did it one year and hated it. It seemed like every week you were playing against your own players. I got so confused on who to root for.

I'm in 3 leagues this year and I always just root more for the guys in the league that I care the most about.

Yeah but if Im killing the dude I'm playing in that league or getting killed then I stil have something to root for that week.

Do you play for money? I bet if you played for money you would be pumped about all of your teams.
 
My team in a 12 team league. It's not PPR and we start a flex.

Eli, Young
Chris Johnson, Greene, Brandon Jackson (drafted btw), Reggie Bush, Ringer
Jennings, Breaston, Edelman (my sleeper's back this week), Vincent Jackson (awesome ruling)
Finley, Gates
Hartley
Saints, Colts

I'm loving my team. Finley and Gates are just as good if not better than wr's like Jennings. Breaston looked like a solid #2 and VJ could be traded and coming back. Though Greene looked shaky, I'm glad it was during week one and think it can only help to motivate him as the year moves along, and if not, we have Jackson which was huge. Eli's VERY underrated imo.
