Another slow day here for the Jazz news wise.. So again this is another light-hearted post so if you're not game - quit now.

Favourite 2nd Team

I'm a Jazz fan through and through, but even I have always followed another team just for fun due the way they play, the players they have, the front office, etc.

So I'm just interested to see who Jazz Fans' 2nd favourite teams are. Feel free to vote and put down your reasons below.

Have fun with it!

When they are not playing the Jazz, I root for the Thunder. After that I would say the Pacers.

I grew up in Portland, and loved the Blazers growing up, but I didn't become a full blown NBA nerd until I lived in Utah.

Utah's my #1, and Portland's my #2.

Don't have one anymore. Used to like the Pacers under Bird w/Reggie, Mullin, Smits and the Davis boys - a veteran smallmarket team similar to Utah that I wanted to see make it through the East...liked Van Gundy's Knicks teams too because of their heart and toughness...only western conf team I ever pulled hard for was the 05-06 Suns (Nash/Raja/Marion)...last year I followed the Bulls because of all the former Jazzmen but I don't like their style of play, follow the Nets a bit because of Deron but I don't really care how successful either team is.
The Kings have great fans so I hope they can find some success and stay in Sacramento but outside of the Jazz there currently aren't any teams I find endearing enough to pull hard for.

General NBA
No more general then all the Lakers/Nets/CP3/DwightHoward threads.

Mine's Minnesota. I just enjoy the daytime Soap Drama that is David Kahn. He speaks so well but couldn't seem to walk the walk. What more, the owner is still keeping him around for comedic relief...

He did, however, gave us Al Jefferson basically for free (therein igniting the start of the resignation of Sloan and DWill shenanigan?), drafted all those PGs and traded them away, signed all those PGs and traded them away, passed on Curry (after drafting 2 PGs before him), grabbed Beasely (again basically for free). After all that there's still the Rubio saga that's beginning to unfold...

It will be interesting how this hotchpot of cast that came together through a man whom they call KAAAAAAAAAAAHNNNN!!! Will the team rise from the ashes? Will he find redemption?

Whatever happens, it's unmissable drama..

I cheer for Buckner and (Metta) World Peace.

Seriously, I guess whoever is playing against the Lakers and since last season, the Heat. When they meet up, all I wish for is a brawl that would leave several players suspended.

wow you must be really torn during the Millsap/Mathews RFA saga??

you'd be in a win/win situation though I guess..

I like Memphis (except, I didn't really like that trade with Indy, today) Which brings up Indy, I think that they have a pretty deep, talented team, that will go pretty far this year.

Pacers. Been to their forums a few times; good fans, good organization, likeable players. Plus, I always root for smaller markets. Kings take a close third. I definitely am not half as passionate for these teams as I am for the Jazz, though

I honestly don't have a second favorite team. I remember as a kid sorta rooting for the Blazers since they were from my dad's area and were a small market team, but once they knocked the Jazz out of the playoffs those couple times in the 90s that ended that.

I guess I can sorta cheer for the Bucks.

Dallas. I've always been a fan of Dirk, but the Laker sweep last year sealed it for me. That was almost better to me than him finally getting his ring. Hell, it was better.

Other than that, I root for different teams depending on how things are shaping up down the stretch every year.
