Has any player ever gotten better treatment from the referees than Dwayne Wade? Touch him and it’s a foul on you. Don’t touch him, but have him slip (or pretend to) and fall next to you — foul. Have him careen into you, completely out of control and with his back turned to the basket and again, somehow, it’s a foul on you. I loved the scene of him on his stomach under the basket, pounding the floor with his palms like a bratty two-year-old having a tantrum because he didn’t get a call. And why not? Just like that two-year-old, he’s been conditioned to expect the call every time.
