#14 - Nogueira
#21 - Canaan
He mentions the Jazz as a possible suitor for Sacramento's #7.
I wouldn't be either thrilled or pissed.
I would bet Burke is the target for a move up.

"The Jazz, in particular, have been looking to move up and like McCollum, so that's one plausible scenario."
He has Burke going to New Orleans #6.
is #14 & #21 enough to move up to #7

Don't know if we can count on getting a star at #7, but I'd be happy with a solid starter. Jazz have 4 rotation players right now (yes, I'm putting Burks in that category...at least as a backup), add 1 more in the draft, two at the deadline with our cap space and 1 more in next years draft. That's a total of 8. Add in young support players or low-level FA's as needed.2 picks plus burks is too much for anyone in this draft.
2 picks for 7 would be hard enough to swallow, but if we got a star(ter) then it would be great.

Definitely. Burks is undervalued right now due to his lack of playing time. Corbin saw to that. Jazz would be selling low if they traded Alec. Perhaps Burks ISN'T the answer at SG. But I think he COULD be a good asset to dangle at the trade deadline if a team is looking to trade a very good veteran starter (i.e. with a high salary) and wants a young player with value in return. But Burks will only have that value once he's given playing time.So you agree that 14 + 21 is ok but adding burks is too much?

Even if the Jazz are as desperate to ship out Burks as all of you guys are...
